Yvonne Lee is the Head of Integrated Systems in Digital and Technology at The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, where she is currently selecting and implementing the first institution-wide shared DAM platform for images, videos, and documents. Previously she served as the Head of Collection Information and Digital Assets at LACMA managing a data team in the stewardship of the art administration systems. Prior experience as an independent data manager for local and national arts and culture organizations informed her human-first approach to technology that centers around empowering cultural workers in the assessment and use of digital tools, DEAI and critically examining assumptions coded into prevailing data practices. Yvonne is the Vice President/President-Elect of the Museum Computer Network Board of Directors, is a founding member of LA County’s Arts Datathon, and consults on UCLA Department of Information Studies’ Professional Programmatic Committee. She holds a B.A. in Art History from UC Berkeley, and an MLIS in Archival Science from UCLA.
