Odile Tevie is co-founder and current director of Nubuke Foundation, a premier arts and cultural institution in Ghana, celebrating its 15th in 2021. Nubuke Foundation has its premier centre- with bespoke  gallery and other facilities in Accra- the capital city of Ghana and in Wa in the Upper West region of Ghana.
The journey to creating a first class internationally acclaimed private arts institution in Ghana began with strong convictions about the potential for the creative industry in Ghana and the desire to create an institution that would ambitiously carve a strong career path for visual artists, poets, theatre producers, artisans and craft makers.

Under her direction, Nubuke Foundation has launched several iterations of the YGA- Young Ghanaian Artist(2013 to date) artist development programme which has been seminal in establishing the career of several young internationally known Ghanaian artists today; The Ghana Must Go programme(2016-2019) similarly, an incubator space for young creatives to develop and exchange ideas with mentors and peers; and an ongoing design intervention programme and workshops led by artists and a network of cultural experts nationwide and institutions from Ghana, Mali and Austria.
