I’ve spent the majority of my professional career working in Digital Marketing for museums and cultural institutions. I got my start as Imaging Coordinator in the Web Group of the Digital Media Department at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2009. I rose in the ranks of the team at The Met, taking on more email and strategy responsibilities, and eventually became the second full-time social media producer in my last two years. After about five years at the Met, the Social Media Manager position came up at LACMA and I jumped on the opportunity, thriving in the position for about two years. Since LACMA, I’ve been consulting on my own for over 4 years through my own LLC and I've been fortunate to have worked with more than a dozen wonderful clients mostly in the nonprofit cultural sector, including these museums: The Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco; Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA); The J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles; SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; The Nevada Museum of Art, Reno; The Annenberg Foundation Estate at Sunnylands; New-York Historical Society, and The Hammer Museum. I hope to see some familiar faces at MCN 2021 VIRTUAL as well as to make new connections!
