Giles is a digital producer and product designer with over twenty years of professional experience. His work focuses on pushing storytelling techniques, whilst driving audience engagement around targeted narratives.
Giles is particularly adept at producing complex, content-rich, multi-platform projects, with strong strategic, editorial and commercial goals. He has designed or produced over 300 digital projects for British TV broadcasters, and leading cultural institutions across the globe. This approach has won him multiple awards including a BAFTA from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
He leads digital projects in all mediums with a particular love for the creation of interactive products that combine storytelling, with human interaction and emerging technologies. His output spans TV shows, podcasts, mobile apps, websites and SAAS ecosystems.
Giles’s love for arts and culture led to his participation as one of the founders of The Corner Festival a Multidisciplinary Arts Festival in Barcelona in 2010. The Corner rebranded in 2015 and lives on as the Poble Nou Urban Art District.
Between 2012 and 2017 Giles was the Director of Design and Product Release for Antenna International where he designed the company's mobile interpretation system, a suite of software and hardware solutions that underpinned mobile interpretation at over 1,2000 museums and galleries globally.
In July 2021 Giles co-founded LUZIDLAB, an international collective of strategic creatives focused on cultural and social innovation, specifically around digital transformation for small to medium-sized cultural institutions.
Giles has also lectured on Digital Production processes and techniques for the BBC Academy in the UK.
Clients Giles has produced work for include: BBC, UKTV, SKY, TATE, The LOUVRE – Abu Dhabi, The National Gallery – London, Buckingham Palace and The Royal Collection and Fundació Miro.
