In Fall 2020 MANY received IMLS CARES funding for the "Building Capacity, Creating Sustainability, Growing Accessibility" Project. 98 museums across New York were selected to participate in this two-year project. Receiving hardware, software, and training, 200+ museum professionals work to share their collections and reach audiences who cannot physically visit their museums. One year on, this presentation highlights the success, challenges and lessons learned of capacity building at scale.
